Valrico, Florida is a community that grew up in the past 20 years. Prior, Valrico was known as a rural area to Tampa, Florida and comprised of cow pastures, orange groves and a few neighborhoods here and there. Since the 1980’s, Valrico started to grow; and grew it did!

Yes, anyone can say that Valrico has great shopping. But, more specifically, what kind of shopping? With in 10 minutes you will find Westfield’s Brandon Towne Center which is a major shopping mall near Interstate 75 and Highway 60. There are 3 Home Depots, 2 Lowes Home Improvement Centers, numerous grocery centers including Publix and SweetBay, several Wal-Marts, Starbuck’s Coffee, Panera Bread, Chili’s and Outback Steakhouse…As you can see, living in Valrico, Florida has plenty to choose from in regards to shopping and dining.

As for pricing, you can find homes priced below $100,000 to over $1,000,000. The average price is around $150,000. A home valued at $150,000 would generally include approximately 2,000 square feet, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 car garage and a standard lot the size of 70×120. However, the various neighborhoods have different characteristics such as golf courses, gated and secured, lush landscaping, architectural styles and so forth. The current pricing trend has stabilized in most neighborhoods and the selection of available homes is great. Now is a great time to buy…homes for sale in Valrico Florida.

Most job seekers find employment along Interstate 75 (Sabal Park area), MacDill Air Force Base, downtown Tampa and even into Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The average commute takes 30 minutes to Tampa.
